Here am i..stranded in Uni because it's raining like cats and dogs outside. basically i'm not the afraid of the rain type..but at this stage..the risk of getting sick is one that i can ill afford to take.
Anyways, yet another gruelling 150 mins lecture+tutorial of Issues in Criminal justice... i have no idea why i did this subject.. they said its a compulsory of psyc students but i believe we HELP students kena Con... why? most psyc students in this course are mainly HELP students..so why aren't the psyc RHMs taking this course?i reckon they wanna start promoting this course or perhaps the course is still in its early stages and we're sorta kinda the lab rats. darn RHMs..anyhow..no point investigating..i'm already halfway through the semester..
So..we had this RHM guy who supposedly is an expert in victimology..and goodness...he's as powderful as Kurt Lushington (another RHM)...in just one hour..his aura of extreme fatigue-ness was so great that i'm still feeling it even after 2 hours.. God knows whether i might suffer from a relapse tomorrow during work and end up falling off the ladder or something *touchwood*
You might wonder..why did i attend the class den? simple, our RHM tutor, she takes attendance by calling out our names.. and for whatever strange reasons.. she decided not to take attendance today. @#%^$%$%@&$%^$@#$!@#!##%$@
On top of that,there was this RHM girl who was just sooooo annoying today. she makes some good points occasionally but it really gets to me when she interupts a fellow student when they have the right to express their thoughts as well..FYI, she interupted a fellow RHM, so i cudn't care less.
You see..if it was a typical Ms. Winnie Class or a Dr. Joseph class...i'm fine even if it rains.. i mean...we use to run off from block E to block A to get on the shuttle bus to main block..and in getting down from the bus.. we encounter huge puddles of water and start skipping over pot holes to get to our cars..Rain?? What rain? it's worth it if u've learned something. Even if it is not rewarding..it could be just to prevent myself from getting barred *grins.. "QUESTION 1!!!" *scrambles to take out a piece of paper* In the example given, identify two different types of learning as proposed by Skinner. - Yes,i'm bored..what do you expect? i'm in the uni lab blogging... Well i suppose i could do something more useful such as start researching for articles..but screw it..procrastination is the key to excellence :p
As days go by and the frequency of interacting with RHMs increases..their idiocy just gets to me at times. they are just so ethnocentric- the inability to see/think from another culture's point of view.
e.g. during work, there was this song that was aired on the radio and my two fellow RHM workers were singing to it.. i asked them what's the name of the band and they were like "You DOINT KNOEW??!?!" (aussie accent)"they're ACDC, one of the classics maaigght"
Not that it's a big thing, but do i play jay chou or lee hom music and go like "Eh, you dong-k know aaahh??" "jay chou and wang lee hom ahh..geng chau ar dai lou.." RHMs..
However, i shall not be like them and over generalize things..mind you, i have 3 cousins who are half English.so i shall conclude this entry by stating that not all RHMs are like that, just some of them..
thx for reading up till this point if u did =)
off to the take the escort back home now..
Goodnoight =)
